RigUp Connect is the name of our innovative, digital subcontracting program that has been developed to drive value to both E&P companies and service providers. With this program, we allow E&P buyers to subcontract work to service companies through a global MSA in the name of RUSCO Operating (a wholly owned subsidiary of RigUp, Inc.).
We take responsibility for all billing and operational risk that may arise over the course of a job. By leveraging software and technology, combined with a proprietary contractor insurance program, RigUp ensures 100% compliance and 100% cost control for all work that is subcontracted. With this program, RigUp hopes to provide all service providers with the following benefits:
Immediate access to a growing network of E&P companies you can be ready to work with.
Simple onboarding process to get to work faster.
Improved opportunities to win work from open market bid requests.
Access to RigUp's proprietary insurance program to guarantee requirements can be met, regardless of a company’s size or the jobs requirements.
Save time usually spent dealing with MSAs or credit checks.
Guaranteed payment. On time, every time.
Flexible payment terms and the ability to expedite payment at industry leading rates.
Anybody can sign up for the RigUp Connect program and it’s free to join. Here we will walk you through how to get set up and ready to go the moment an E&P company wants to work with you or if you would like to list your products and services on the platform.
Get started by visiting the RigUp Connect page, here and hitting Complete Onboarding
During the onboarding process you will come across the following statuses:
Throughout this process you will be asked to upload documents. You can either drag and drop the file into the designated area or find it on your computer by clicking on the box:
Every section that requires a document to be uploaded will be reviewed by RigUp before it is approved.
Now, let's take a closer look at each section:
We'll start with some basic information about your company. Provide an approximate employee count and the number of years in operation.
Upload a copy of your company's W-9 in this section.
Health & Safety Data
We are required to collect some basic HSE data from all of our RigUp Connect customers. For the OSHA and EMR sections you can choose to opt out but you must provide a reason. Most commonly, this will be because you have not been in business long enough to have these records or, for OSHA, your line of business may make you exempt from filing. For years that this information is unavailable, simply click Opt Out, enter your reason and click Save.
Upload OSHA logs for each of the past three years.
Upload EMR documents for the past three years.
Certificate of Insurance (COI)
In order to be eligible for the RigUp Connect program we need to make sure your company meets some basic insurance requirements.
For instant eligibility we require a minimum limit of $1 million for general, automobile and workers compensation / employers' liability insurance. Our requirements for umbrella / excess liability insurance will be determined on a per job basis but we ask that you list the highest coverage amount you can provide to help make you instantly eligible to work with more E&P companies.
Please note: If you are unable to meet the automobile or workers comp limits, you will not be eligible for the Connect program. However, there are a small number of exceptions, depending on your company's line of work. If you do not meet these limits and would like to request a waiver, please contact us at RUSCO@rigup.com .
Once you have selected your limits, you will be asked to upload a COI that names RUSCO Operating LLC / RUSCO Group as additionally insured and the certificate holder.
Your COI must also include evidence of additional insured status and waiver of subrogation in accordance with the MSA requirements (also state if you have blanket waiver of subrogation and blanket additional insured endorsement).

Once you upload your COI it will be submitted for review:
Supplemental Insurance Costs
In the event that you cannot meet the general liability or umbrella / insurance requirements as outlined in the MSA between the E&P company scheduling the job and RigUp, RigUp will provide coverage through its contractor insurance program.
The fee associated with RigUp supplemented insurance is an additional 5% fee, deducted from the total invoice amount at the end of the job.
The RigUp MSA is how you gain access to our network and grants the ability to work with any E&P company.
Our MSA can be executed online. All you need is the authority to bind your company to the terms of the MSA. If you have the necessary authority, simply:
Read through the MSA
Enter your company's legal name
Provide your full title
Check the box to accept
A time stamp will appear when the the MSA has been submitted, and you will be able to download a copy for your records.
Lastly, provide us with payment instructions so that we can ensure prompt payment.
