Dispatcher Training for the RigUp Mobile App
This video will take you through the steps to receive the work block, assign a driver, and to complete the work block.
If you have the RigUp app installed and proper notifications turned on, you will see a banner pop up on your screen when work is assigned to you. A badge icon will also appear on the RigUp app indicating new work has been assigned.
After clicking on the banner it will take you to the job details screen. Here you can see a map with the location of the pickup as a number one, the primary drop off as a number two and secondary drop off as a number three.
You can click the map to open a full screen version where you can zoom in to see each location if necessary.
Click Back and the client name and work block number are listed below along with the service category and distance to the pickup from your current location. The requester may have entered a description and their contact info that you can see below.
Scrolling down and clicking the DETAILS button for the pickup, you can see more information for that location.
Clicking the map in this screen will open up your phone's mapping application.
Underneath is the latitude and longitude for the selected location where you can also open your phone’s mapping. If available, directions will be shown here as well In the pickup location details you will also have the ability to check the work requirements for the work block before TAKING THE TASK in the form total barrels, number of trucks, number of loads and an AFE if provided.
Click the back arrow in the top left corner to come back to the Work Details page.
You can also click the DETAILS button for the drop off locations to see information similar to the pickup location details.
If you believe you can meet the requirements of the task provided click TAKE TASK at the bottom of the screen. This will take you to a screen where you will confirm that you are able to complete the requirements associated with the task.
Check all the boxes to the left of the requirements and enter a date and time that is before the required ETA.
If you are unable to meet the required ETA please do not accept the task and click NO, I CAN'T.
If you are able to complete this job, click CONFIRM.
Congratulations! You have accepted the work block. You can review the details of the task again and if you feel you can’t not complete the task with the requirements please contact RigUp Dispatch immediately.
Now we are going to assign drivers. Click the icon in the bottom right called ASSIGN DRIVERS. Here you can see your available driver list. If there is a driver that is not showing up please contact the Operations Manager to ensure the driver is activated.
You can assign as many drivers as needed to meet the work block requirements. Be aware that after you select the drivers and click Save they can not be taken off the job. Please only assign the number of drivers you intend to use on the work block.
Click save after making your selections and confirm your assignments. This brings you back to the Work Details screen where you can see the drivers you have just selected populated.
If you need to assign more drivers just click Assign Drivers again and repeat the process.
After the drivers have all completed the task and clocked out you can click the Complete Task icon at the bottom of the screen.
On this screen you will enter the actual work details from the task. Enter the total hours worked between all drivers, how many total barrels were hauled, how many total loads were hauled, and the total amount of trucks used.
Optional fields are used if you have standby time, additional comments that need to be presented to our invoicing team during review and additional costs.
If you do incur additional costs which need to be billed to RigUp, click the plus icon and enter the details of the cost for review and click SAVE.
Finally, you need to upload your supporting documentation such as field tickets and disposal tickets.
Click UPLOAD ATTACHMENTS. You can either take a picture with your phone's camera of the supporting document or upload it if field personnel have sent it to you.
After the picture has finished uploading, the Submit button will illuminate.
You can either continue to upload documents or click SUBMIT.
Once you hit submit you have successfully completed a work block and submitted for payment where you can see the details on the screen.
Click DONE to return to the History tab on your home screen view.
