Some bid requests use RigUp Bid Templates. Instead of using a bid document for your submission, you can fill out line items directly on RigUp.
Each bid submission page that uses a RigUp Bid Template will allow you to enter pricing in two sections: the specific line items as requested by the operator, and any additional line items.
Entering Pricing for Specific Line Items
Operators specify these line items. Fill in the blanks to write your quote.
This column lists the line items you're bidding on. Each line item is specified by the operator, and service companies cannot edit them.
Enter pricing for each line item in this section. This number will be multiplied by the Quantity to generate a final price in the Total column
This column describes the units that the item should be quoted in. This is also specified by the operator, and you cannot edit it.
Examples of units: per hour, per feet, per mile, or per job.
This column may be specified by the operator. If so, you will not be able to edit it. If it's not already specified, you should fill this out with your own quantity.
This section is automatically calculated (Cost x Quantity) and cannot be edited individually.
If you want to provide a discount, calculate this into your Cost section.
To the right of the Total for each line, there will be an arrow icon for you to select We don't offer this or Included. If you do have an alternate or substitute product, add it as an additional line item in the Additional Line Items Section.
Note: Submissions that do not comply with Operator specified line items or units may be considered invalid submissions, and run the risk of not being considered by the Operator.
Additional Line Items
Use this section if you need to add additional, alternate, or substitute line items to your bid. If you add an item but don't want it to affect the overall job cost, enter "0" for quantity and the price provided will not be calculated into the total.
Upload as many attachments as necessary. Keep in mind that Operators are primarily evaluating pricing from the Bid Template submission and are under no obligation to view attachments. Be sure all pricing is included in your submission.
Use the comments box to add any non-line item specific comments that you would like the Operator to see.
You can save a submission as a draft and edit it until the deadline, but the Operator will not see your submission until you submit your pricing.
To finalize your submission, click Submit Pricing.
View, Edit and Print your Submission
Before the deadline, click Edit Response to view, edit, or print your submission. After the deadline, this changes to View Response. You can't edit your pricing anymore, but you can still view and print it.
