Why Am I Seeing a Warning on My Job Sheet Submission Page?
When you upload a job sheet or supporting documents, you may see a yellow warning message before you can continue. These are just a heads-up — they catch common issues early so your job sheet doesn't get delayed or rejected later. You can still move forward after a warning, but it's worth double-checking what it's telling you first.
Here's what each warning means and what to do about it.
My file type isn't supported
You'll see: "This file type may cause issues"
Job sheets need to be uploaded as a PDF or XLSX file. Supporting documents can be a PDF, JPEG, PNG, or XLSX.
What to do: Save your file in one of these formats and upload it again.
My file won't open (corrupt or empty)
You'll see: "This file is corrupt or empty"
This means the file didn't upload correctly, or it doesn't have any content in it.
What to do: Open the file yourself to make sure it looks right, save a new version, and upload that instead.
My pay period overlaps a previous submission
You'll see: "This pay period overlaps a previous submission"
This shows up when the Start or End Date you entered overlaps with a job sheet you've already submitted.
What to do: Check your Pay Period Start and End Dates. If you've already submitted for these dates, there's no need to submit again. If this is a new period, double-check for a typo in the dates before continuing.
My pay period extends into the future
You'll see: "This pay period extends into the future"
Job sheets generally can't be processed more than 2 days ahead of when the work is actually completed (holidays and time off are an exception).
What to do: Double-check that your Pay Period Start and End Dates are correct. If the work isn't finished yet, wait to submit until it is.
